The Norfolk Family YMCA currently has openings in the following areas:
Y Kids Club – Before and After School Child Care Program for Grades K-4th for the 2011/2012 School Year. We are looking for those who have a passion for working with children. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting with homework; interacting with children through games, activities, and crafts; monitoring behavior; and communicating with parents/guardians. Hours available: M/T/Th/F 3:00-6:00 pm; W 1:45-6:00 pm. Taking applications until positions filled. Contact Shayla for more information. (Posted 1/31/12)
Fitness Staff: Instructors and Personal Trainers – Taking applications ongoing. Must have a passion for helping others, a team player and basic knowledge of fitness principles. Will train and certify the right candidates.
