Group Fitness Class Descriptions
CXWORX
Looking for a short, sharp workout that will inspire you to the next level of fitness, while strengthening and toning your body? CXWORX™ is for you! This 30-minute workout really hones in on the torso and sling muscles that connect your upper body to your lower body. Ideal for tightening your midsection and gluteals, while also improving functional strength and assisting in injury prevention. It will help you run faster … play harder … stand stronger!
Group Cycling
Using stationary bikes, an instructor coaches you through a high energy, calorie and fat burning session. The coach’s commands and the pounding beat of the music while cycling side by side with others builds energy and provides motivation. This class can accommodate beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of fitness because you control the bike’s resistance. Everyone should bring a water bottle to every class. Class is limited in size, you are encouraged to reserve your bike up to one day in advance at the front desk or call (402)371-9770.
Sunday Cycling
Offered October-March we will be offering a 1 1/2 hour cycling class for those that want that extra boost to finish out the weekend. You must sign up for at least the 1st 45 minutes to do the class. Bring two water bottles with you!
BodyPump
BodyPump is for everybody. Welcome to the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body! This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight get you the results you came for and fast! Classes are limited in size, so please arrive early!
BodyPump Express
Same great BodyPump class, only 45 minutes length. Perfect workout for your lunch hour!
TurboKick
The evolution of kick boxing is here! TurboKick is an addictive workout that combines shadow boxing, kick boxing, sport drills and simple dance moves in a party atmosphere. This is an interval based class that allows participants of any fitness level to participate and custom tailor their workout. Get ready to kick, punch and groove the calories away. Seen on TV as Turbo Jam!
T-N-T (Tighten N Tone)
This class works on muscular strength by toning and shaping your entire body. By utilizing hand and ankle weights, tubing, medicine and stability balls, you will increase your metabolism, improve lean muscle mass, and decrease body fat. For all fitness levels.
SilverSneakers MSROM – Muscular Strength and Range of Movement
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity of daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are all offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
PiYo
This is an athletic fusion style strength and flexibility mat class. It is the perfect combination of Pilates, Yoga and much more. It joins athletic moves in a fluid, challenging workout for everyone. Improve your strength, flexibility and balance in this unique workout.
Zumba
As seen on T.V.! Yes, Zumba is here! This class combines Latin moves and great music with early to learn moves that will get you hooked. A great cardio workout to add variety and fun to your routine. The workouts are interval based, combining fast and slow rhythms and resistance training to tone and sculpt your body.
Zumbatomic
Led by a certified Zumbatomic instructor, this fun, energetic, healthy program for children ages 4-12 uses the Zumba Fitness concept-Exercise in Disguise! With music and dance moves that are kid-friendly-along with games and positive encouragement-this class is sure to help children choose a path toward a healthy lifestyle.
Zumba Gold
This is a specialty class for the beginner to the active older adult. It’s everything you love about Zumba, with movements and pace modified to help you get and stay fit, the fun way!
Extreme Abs
A quick 20 minute routine that will challenge the way you work your core muscles. This workout is for the person who wants to tone and define their midsection. From basic crunches to Pilates moves, this workout will let you see and feel the results. No time is wasted—come prepared to work hard!

Lift Like a Girl
For women who want to learn the benefits of weight-lifting and put to rest their fears of “bulking up.” Learn proper lifting technique, how to use both the free weights in the weight room and the FreeMotion machines, all in a small girls-only group atmosphere! Information on proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle also included.
Body Blast
Blast fat while having fun in these extremely advanced fitness class. With a combination of HIGH intensity, resistive,cardiovascular,and plyometric training, you can take your fitness level beyond anything you’ve experienced before!
