New in 2010
The Waist Management Winners will be the male and female participants who lose the greatest percentage of body weight (*including Bonus Pounds*) by the end of the competition and each will win $500 cash and a one year Adult membership to the YMCA. Of course, this contest is open to anyone who needs a little motivation to get healthier and lose weight! We will provide you will accountability and motivation to help you reach your goals. We will also be providing weekly prize drawings for weighing-in, personalized nutrition guidance AND previous Biggest Loser/Y Weight Loss Challenge participants will receive 20% off their registration fee!
Biggest Loser Day is Back!
Amy and Marty Wolff from NBC’s hit reality show “The Biggest Loser” will be here in February. They will speak about their experience, share tips and toke you through a “Biggest Loser-style” workout. For more information on Amy and Marty, please visit their website at www.realitywellnessinc.com. This event is FREE for Waist Managment participants! General public can attend as room allows for an additional charge. All attendees will receive a FREE autographed picture of Amy and Marty Wolff.
What is the cost and what is included?
Every participant will receive initial and final weigh-ins which include weight, body fat testing, body mass index calculation, blood pressure, body measurements and before/after pictures. Weekly weigh-ins are available on Wednesdays with no appointement needed. We have lots of great educational information and activities planned throughout the contest. Every participant will receive a Waist Management Kit which includes official t-shirt, pedometer, healthy tips, coupons and other goodies! The cost of the program is $65 for YMCA members adn $165 for non-members, BUT the non-member price automatically gives you a YMCA membership for the duration of the program! You can’t beat that!
