*Aquacise* – Take advantage of the social as well as physical benefits of water aerobics. Aquacise is a good way to burn calories, improve your cardiovascular strength and overall fitness. Regardless of your age or athletic ability, This is an excellent choice for most people, including accident recovery victims and those who are pregnant. Water provides 60% more resistance than on land and reduces stress on the joints by about 90%.
*Aqua(PC)* – This is a class in cooperation with the Midlands Chapter of National MS Society. This class is designed for participants with all ranges of abilities and includes stretching, strengthening, and range of motion. Pool Accessibility – the pool is fully accessible and equipped with a chair lift and steps for the pool. Pool temperature is kept at 84 degress. The Aqua PC class can improve muscle strength and balance, increase circulation, help maintain or improve joint flexibility and range of motion, reduce spasticity, and improve your overall feeling of well being.
*Hydrofit* – A great toning and water-fitness class in deep water. This class includes muscle toning with the added benefit of water resistance, plus a great cardiovascular workout.
*Aqua Cardio* – This is the night-time cardio aquacise. This is for those done with a hard day of work ready to shake it up in the water.
*Water Walking* – Walking in the water for 30 min. is equal to walking on land for 2 hours! Doesn’t that seem like an easy enough workout?
*Power Walking* – A quick 30 min. cardio workout, equal to a 2 hour walk on land. Alternating walking and jogging, incorporates interval training. Various equipment is also used to build upper body strength and toning!
*Aqua Boot Camp* – Boot Camp is Here! Aqua Boot Camp will test your water fitness level! It will challenge you to new strengths never thought possible in the water. This class will use land boot camp drills in the water. This class will use high cardio pumping music. A variety of water device will be used such as noodles, barbells, weights, bands, and anything else the instructor can think of.
*Deep Water* – This is a class done in the deep water, alittle swim experience is good, but not required. Flotation devices and other pieces of equipment are used in the class. This class also focuses on working different areas every class to break a normal body routine.
*Aqua Muscle* – This is a class designed to work the muscles with the water resistance. This class will meet in the little pool. This class will use the Hydrofit equipment, hand weights, and resistance bands, to work the different muscle groups. This class will also involve running, lunges, and squats.
*Aqua Jog* – This is a class designed on RUNNING! In this class participants will run. Come enjoy the benefits of running in the water and relieve those joints of the impact of running up on dry land. This class will alternate between shallow and deep water. Swimming experience is not required, flotation devices may be used.
