Parent/Tot (Ages 3 months to 6 years)
Shrimp, Kipper, Inia, Perch (Parent/Child) Ages 6 mos-6yrs: Parent/Child lessons are designed for infants or children with a fear of the water. This class does require that one parent be in the water for the entire lesson. This class focuses on water adjustment and comfort. Children will not be taught to swim on their own in this level. This level will give parents help and techniques on how to familiarize their child in the water. This class will allow parents to help their children overcome their fears of the water. The skills taught in this level include, but are not limited to: water adjustment, water comfort, songs and games, floating with support, kicking with support, blowing bubbles and general water safety.

Preschool (Ages 3,4 and 5)
Preschool I – Ages 3-5: This class combines the Pike and Eel levels. This class is designed for preschool aged children who may have a fear of the water and are learning the basics of comfort in the water. Skills worked on in this level include, but are not limited to: water adjustment, blowing bubbles, submerging for 3 seconds, front floats, back floats, glides, paddling, kicking, and general water safety.
Preschool II – Ages 3-5: This class combines the Ray and Starfish levels. This class is designed for preschool aged children who are comfortable in the water. Children must be able to submerge on their own in order to enroll in this level. Skills worked on in this level include, but are not limited to: paddle strokes (front and back), symmetrical strokes (front and back), object retrieval, creative skills, diving, and general water safety.
Youth Progressive Lessons (Ages 6 and up!)
Beginner Ages 6 and up! This class combines the Polliwog and Guppy levels. This class is designed for the beginning school aged child. Children MUST be enrolled in school to participate. Skills worked on in this level include, but are not limited to: submerging for 5 seconds, blowing bubbles, front floats, back floats, glides, arm movements, kicking, survival techniques and general water safety.
Intermediate Ages 6 and up! This class combines the Minnow and Fish levels. This class is designed for school aged children who are READY to begin stroke mechanics. Children MUST be able to comfortably submerge, hold a front float and back float each for 10 seconds and be able to glide before enrolling in this level. Skills worked on in the level include, but are not limited to: front crawl, back crawl, breast stroke, elementary backstroke, butterfly, diving and general water safety.
Advanced Ages 6 and up! This class combines the Flying Fish and Shark levels. This class is designed for school aged children who are able to swim the five basic strokes one length of the pool without stopping. Children must show competency in the five basic strokes before registering for this level. Skills worked on in this level include, but are not limited to: side stroke, stroke alterations, diving board (pike and tuck dives) and general water safety.
Please Note: All Swim lessons will have the same structure. All children will be introduced to the appropriate skills for their level along with basic lifesaving skills. Please keep in mind that there are separate course for lifesaving and diving, and these items will NOT be emphasized during regular swimming lessons.
