YMCA Membership Information
With your YMCA Membership you get so many things! All land and water fitness classes on the group exercise schedule are FREE with a membership, so take advantage of this! Also, you get use of the pool, gymnasiums, weight room, wellness floor, indoor field turf, suspended track (7 laps = 1 mile), and an Adventure Zone. Also, play all the racquetball and wallyball you want, because it is free with your membership!
When you are a member, most regular programs are 1/2 price compared to the nonmember price! So, why not sign up?
When signing up as a member you get a FREE equipment orientation or personal training consultation - we want you to get the most out of your membership! Free equipment orientations are also available for current members, so if you are a current member and you have not had one, stop by the front desk and get scheduled today. Take advantage of learning all the machines to better your fitness goals-whatever they may be!
The YMCA offers memberships in 14 categories, so we are sure to have the membership type that fits your needs! For specific membership types and rates please see our Rates page under Memberships.
The following is general information in regards to Memberships:
NOTE
Any child on a household membership, age 18 or older must pay the $5 upgrade fee to use the fitness center locker room (valid for one day only) or have their own fitness center membership. Use of a parent’s code will suspend membership privileges for all members on the membership; please don’t make us do this we don’t like to!
Changing Your Membership Type
Not a problem, memberships may be downgraded once a year or upgrade at any time!
Joiner’s Fee
A one-time $50 Joiner’s Fee is applied to all new memberships (except youth). This does not affect current members unless the membership lapses for more than 60 days. Good news for full-time college students-Bring in your current class schedule (minimum 12 credit hours) and we waive the Joiner’s Fee!
Payment Options
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Cash. Checks are also accepted please note that as of March 18, 2010 all checks submitted to the YMCA will be ran through as an EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). Checks from businesses will not be ran through as an EFT. Memberships that are on a monthly auto-draft require a credit/debit card or checking/saving account (no cash).
Pay Monthly
Our most affordable, popular option. Pay automatically via bank draft or credit/debit card and you choose, on the 1st or the 15th. Sorry, no cash payments or paying each month at the Welcome Center. Membership renews each month until canceled. Pro-rated dues and the Joiner’s Fee may apply to new memberships.
Pay Annually
Keep it simple and pay once a year! Pay via cash, check, or credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover). Pro-rated dues and the Joiner’s Fee may apply to new memberships.
