“I use to be not the best kid around the Y but the staff around here helped me learn responsibility and helped me grow up as a person. I have used the basketball gym as a sanctuary which helped me to focus. It really shows how committed the Y is to make this a great place for kids. I’m not sure where I would be today if I would not have been able to come to the Y every day the past nine years. I will always remember my time at the Y and the kindness the staff has shown me. "We just finished our last YMCA youth football game with our son Mason on this past Sunday, and we can't begin to tell you how much we are going to miss it!! We just wanted to take a minute to express to you and your entire staff how much we have appreciated the youth football program over the last four years! It is a fantastic program to be involved in and we are so thankful we took part in it! We can't imagine how much prep work and organization goes on behind the scenes, so we want to thank EVERYONE who has a part in making this program the success that it is!! The volunteer coaches, the volunteer refs, the concession workers, grounds keepers, support staff, etc ( I know I'm missing some),...we can't thank them enough for giving us parents and all these kids such a rewarding experience! Along the last four years, we've seen the players develop skills, discipline, confidence, and new friendships! Priceless! And not only the players, but we parents as well have become friends with some really great people and will always be grateful for that! So please extend this sincere "thank you" to as many people as you can for us!!
