Card Scanning

All members (age 6 and up) will receive a membership card that must be scanned each time the facility is entered. Cards need to be scanned even if the door is already open. We track usages of our facility and in the event of an emergency we may need to know if you have entered the facility. You can also access the facility thru the Norfolk Family YMCA App.  Download our free Mobile App: Norfolk Family YMCA and use it in place of your card. If you need help setting up your app, please stop by our Welcome Center. If you forget your membership card you must check in at the Welcome Center.  Giving your card to someone else will suspend your membership privileges.

We welcome anyone to come in and tour our facility! To guarantee someone will be able to give you a proper tour, we ask that you come in Monday-Friday during the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Nationwide Program

Just one of the many awesome things about being a Y member. The Nationwide Program allows YMCA members to use other Y's in the United States. The visiting YMCA will look you up in a portal that is shared by all YMCA's to verify your membership. Call your visiting Y ahead of time to find out if they participate in the Nationwide Program.
