Pilates Reformer

The Pilates principles coupled with proper instruction encourage participants to strengthen muscles and decrease body fat all while maintaining the natural curves of the spine. Don’t let chronic pain prevent you from reaching your fitness goals. By nature, Pilates is low impact, which keeps the knees, hips, and back from experiencing the jarring forces that come from running and jumping.

  • Breathing: Breathing through the belly engages the core and increases muscle activation.

  • Pelvic Placement: Tucking and releasing the pelvis keeps the low back in its natural curve to prevent, decrease, or eliminate low back pain.

  • Scapular Movement: Activating the intended muscles through the mid back and shoulders prevents, decreases, or even eliminates upper back and shoulder pain.

  • Head and Cervical Placement: Keeping the head and neck in neutral alignment to prevent, decrease, or even eliminate neck pain.

Both partners must be available for the session, if not, the session needs to be rescheduled so that both are available to train at the same time.

** Small Group Training provides the same fundamentals of reformer and tower but in a social class setting. There needs to be a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 5 in order to receive this rate.


30 minute orientations are free for members who are interested in learning more about the reformer before committing to purchasing a package.
